What will the user get now in the Premium Lite plan?
According to YouTube, background play support is now being enabled for Premium Lite subscribers. With its help, users will be able to play YouTube even when the screen is minimized or locked. Similarly, offline download is also being added, which will allow the user to save and watch videos without internet connection. Most of the videos under this plan are ad-free. However, for YouTube Music Premium, users will still need a full premium subscription. The new change has started rolling out from today and will be available to all users in the next few days.
