Today (26 February) is the second day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel. PM Modi addressed a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. During this time he has given a big statement regarding the Gaza Peace Plan. PM Modi said that humanity should never become a victim of conflict.
Regarding the situation in Gaza, PM Modi said, ‘The Gaza Peace Plan has been approved by the United Nations Security Council. Through this the path to peace has opened. He said, India supports this initiative. Will continue cooperation and dialogue with all countries in the future also.

Peace plan was also supported in Israeli Parliament
Earlier on Wednesday (February 25), the Prime Minister had also expressed support for the Gaza Peace Plan in the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset. During his address in the Israeli Parliament, he said, ‘The Gaza Peace Initiative was approved by the United Nations Security Council. It shows the way to peace. India has supported this initiative. We believe this is a promise of peace for all people, which includes resolving the Palestine issue. All our efforts should be based on wisdom, courage and humanity. The path to peace is not always easy, but India is with you and the world for dialogue, peace and stability in this region.
‘Will continue the fight against terrorism’
Apart from this, while clarifying the stand on terrorism in the press conference, Prime Minister Modi said, India and Israel’s stand against terrorism is the same. He made it clear that there is no place for terrorism in the world. This cannot be accepted in any form. The Prime Minister further said, we will continue the fight against terrorism and those who support it.
