Stock Market Closing Today: After day-long fluctuations, the stock market closed flat on Thursday. On Thursday, the stock market started strongly in the morning, but as the day progressed, profit-booking became dominant and in the end both the major indices closed almost flat. The 30-share Sensex of BSE closed at 82,248.61 with a slight fall of 27.46 points. During trading, it reached a high of 82,579.16 and slipped to 81,970.47, that is, a range of about 608 points was seen throughout the day.
