‘I am a walking check book’, said Rajpal Yadav after being released from jail on bail in the check bounce case of Rs 9 crore.

On February 5, Delhi High Court had rejected Rajpal Yadav’s plea seeking more time to repay the dues in the check bounce case of Rs 9 crore. After which ACTP surrendered in Tihar Jail. The actor got bail on 17 February. Delhi High Court had given him interim relief and suspended his sentence till March 18. Before surrendering in Tihar Jail, Rajpal Yadav was reportedly in a very troubled condition. He was quoted as saying, “I don’t have money. I can’t find any other option. I am all alone here. I have to deal with this problem alone.” Now after being released from jail on bail, the actor has talked about his statement and whether he really has money.

Let us tell you that during an interview given to NDTV, Rajpal Yadav said, “I cannot comment on this right now, but I want to say that I am surrounded by money, Rajpal is a walking check book. I earn money, I help people earn money, and many houses depend on it.”

During this time, Rajpal also told about his short political journey, and clarified why he had left politics. “In 2019, I left politics because I just wanted to serve my people,” he said. After being released from jail, the actor decided to ignore the ongoing legal proceedings. Instead, he spoke in detail about his gratitude and the people who stood by him during his toughest times.

Rajpal further said, “The ink on my thumb was not even dry when I came here straight away to attend my niece’s wedding. I didn’t even get a chance to call my people. I had to come here within 24 hours of my release. The people who helped me and whose names are being taken are not with me from today, they have been supporting me since the beginning of my journey in cinema and have always supported me. I make them feel small by just saying ‘Thank You’.” Don’t want to do it because ‘Thank you’ is a very small gesture.”

According to reports, many people from the Hindi film industry have given financial help to Rajpal in this difficult time, these included Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, David Dhawan, Sonu Sood, Guru Randhawa and Mika Singh.
