If New Zealand is successful in defeating England, then the team will easily get the ticket for the last four. However, if New Zealand loses to England, things may go bad for the team. The good thing with New Zealand is that right now the net run rate of the Kiwi team (+3.050) is quite good.
Pakistan will have to pray for victory against Sri Lanka
After two matches, Pakistan still has only one point. Pakistan has to face Sri Lanka in its last match of Super-8 round on 28th February. If Pakistan defeats Sri Lanka, the team’s total will be three points. However, Pakistan will also have to pray that England is successful in defeating New Zealand. If Pakistan is successful in registering a win against Sri Lanka and England has to face defeat against New Zealand, then in this situation the team with better net run rate will get the ticket for the semi-finals.
