Israel-Iran war: Explosions at many places in Tehran, state of emergency, both countries closed their airspace

War has started between Iran and Israel. Israel Defense Force (IDF) said that sirens have been sounded across the country. Apart from this, people have been asked to stay near safe places by sending advance alerts on mobiles. It is being told that Israel has also closed its air border.

Israeli attack in southern Tehran
The IDF said that this is a proactive alert, so that the public can be prepared for the possibility that missiles could be fired towards Israel. The Israeli Army reiterated that it appeals to the public to stay near safe places. After the Israeli attack, smoke has been seen rising from an area in southern Tehran.

Israel closed airspace
Israeli military authorities have declared a state of special emergency throughout the country. Defense Minister Israel Katz declared a national emergency and warned that there was a possibility of missile and drone attacks on civilian areas of Israel. Israel has closed its airspace. Airlines have been warned not to enter Israeli territory.

The Israeli Army has announced that schools and colleges across the country will remain closed, public gatherings have been banned and people have been advised to work from home. Israel’s Defense Minister said that Israel has launched a preventive missile attack against Iran.

Explosions at 3 places in Iran
There are also reports of explosions in Iran’s capital Tehran. According to Fars News Agency, several missiles have fallen in University Street and Jomhuri area. Iran has also closed its airspace. Government media has confirmed that at least three explosions were heard in Tehran.
