This afternoon, the Afghan Army carried out two major drone attacks near the Artillery Training School of the Pakistan Army located in Nowshera area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. In the first attack, the examination hall in the Artillery Training School was destroyed and in the second attack, the drone fell near the Artillery Training School of the Pakistan Army.
Pakistani police arresting people of Afghan origin in Nowshera
After such a precise attack by the Afghan army, the Pakistani police is running around and arresting the people of Afghan origin living in Nowshera. According to the information, more than 100 families of Afghan origin live near the Army Artillery School in Nowshera Cantt, who came to Pakistan to seek refuge in the 90s after being troubled by the Taliban. After this, their children and grandchildren were born in Pakistan and their Centralized National Identification Card (CNIC) was also made, but Pakistan asked them to leave Pakistan after the standoff with Afghanistan started in February last year.
Many families filed petition in Peshawar High Court
Many families opposed this decision of the Pakistani government and filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court where the case is still pending. In such a situation, after the attack by Afghanistan on the army camps and buildings located in Nowshera for the last two days, today Nowshera police reached to arrest them when these people were offering namaz in the month of Ramadan.
The police first stopped these Pakistanis of Afghan origin from offering Namaz and started arresting them, after which many people of Afghan origin started running away. According to the information, more than 15 Pakistani citizens of Afghan origin have been detained by Nowshera Police and have handed them over to Military Intelligence which is interrogating them on the charges of being informers for Taliban. This action against Pakistani people of Afghan origin in Nowshera is being carried out on the orders of Lieutenant General Omar Bukhari, head of 11 Corps of Pakistan Army based in Peshawar.
