Smartphone Price Hike: The prices of some popular smartphones of Vivo and iQOO in the Indian market may increase from today. According to recent reports, an increase of Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500 may be seen on selected series of these companies. However, no official confirmation has been made yet by both the brands. It is believed that this modification can be done due to the increasing cost of memory components.
Possible impact on Vivo T4 series
Vivo T4 was launched in India at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB and Rs 26,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. According to the leak, the price of all three variants may increase by about Rs 2,000. If this happens then the new prices can reach Rs 24,999, Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999 respectively.
Similarly, the existing variants of Vivo T4R – 8GB + 128GB (Rs 20,999), 8GB + 256GB (Rs 22,999) and 12GB + 256GB (Rs 24,999) – are also expected to see an increase of around Rs 2,000.
Whereas in Vivo T4x, different effects may be seen on different variants. The price of the 6GB + 128GB model may increase by around Rs 1,500, while the price of the 8GB variants is said to jump by around Rs 2,500.
iQOO Z10 lineup may also come under the scope
There is a possibility of a direct increase of about Rs 2,000 in all variants of iQOO Z10. Due to this, the price of 8GB + 128GB model can go up to Rs 24,999 while the 12GB + 256GB variant can reach around Rs 28,999.
A similar increase is expected in the storage options of the iQOO Z10R.
Vivo T4x-like structure can be seen in iQOO Z10x where the price of base variant may increase by Rs 1,500 and 8GB variants may increase by about Rs 2,500.
