During this, Kapil Sharma asked Khan sir why he rejected the job offer of Rs 107 crore. Khan sir replied, ‘When we were students, it was our dream to travel to different places to study. As we mentioned about Kota, we did not have that much money at that time. Even today, more than 90 percent students cannot buy unreserved train tickets. We used to stand at the door, did not dare to go inside, thinking that we might get fined Rs 400, so we used to sit at the door.
Used to charge Rs 1 lakh to see teacher’s face
Khan sir further said, ‘How could I afford the expensive coaching centers when they used to charge Rs 1 lakh just to see the teacher’s face. Earlier there was no online education, everyone had to spend around Rs 2 lakh to attend the classes.
Talking further, Khan sir said, ‘When I got a chance, I did not forget those days and the wounds on my legs. I knew there would always be students who faced the same struggle, so I decided that if I ever had the chance, I would not take that path. When Ravana’s empire could not survive, then what is the significance of Rs 107 crores? Actually, the company of the one who was giving us Rs 107 crore has now been closed.
When Archana Puran Singh asked why she was getting such a huge fee. On this Khan sir said, ‘He wanted me to join him and increase his fees. This would have happened immediately. In fact, these expensive institutions say, ‘They charge less fees because that is their level. If you want premium education, you will have to pay premium fees.
