Israel-Iran War: Owaisi angry over Khamenei’s death in Israeli and American attack, AIMIM Chief made this demand from Modi government

On the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Asaduddin Owaisi described the US-Israeli attack as inhuman and immoral. Speaking at an event on Saturday, he said that Khamenei was the supreme leader of Shia Muslims. By killing him, how can we expect that Iran will remain silent? He demanded that India should also condemn this unlawful death of Khamenei.

Owaisi clearly said that this attack was carried out in the holy month of Ramadan. Trump and Netanyahu do not believe in humanity. Iran-America talks were going on in Geneva which were very close to success, but America stopped those talks and attacked along with Israel. He reminded that America had earlier done the same in Iraq and Libya. Now Israel is continuously attacking Iran and Palestine. This war is absolutely illegal because there was no threat.

What if PM’s plane was attacked: Owaisi asked

He termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel on February 25-26 as untimely. Owaisi asked- What would have happened if PM’s plane was in the air and there was an attack? Israel took advantage of Modi’s visit. If Netanyahu had informed earlier, Modi should have stopped the trip. If you don’t give then you have been cheated. This ended India’s 80 year old neutral policy. Modi government’s foreign policy failed. Now it seems we have chosen a side.

Owaisi also expressed concern over India’s interests. He said that about one crore Indians work in this area and send money home. If oil prices increase, India will suffer huge losses. Flights have been canceled in Dubai, people are stuck. Many Indians and Indian Muslims going to Mecca-Medina are also stranded in Iran. He said that this was India’s chance to become a world leader but we are silent. The problem will not be solved by the statements of MEA and BJP.

Israel attacked after PM Modi’s visit

During PM Modi’s visit to Israel, both the countries had signed many agreements on defense and trade. Just two days later, on February 28, America and Israel attacked Iranian military bases in which Khamenei was martyred. Iran immediately started retaliating. The Government of India has appealed to remain vigilant for the safety of citizens.

This attack has increased tension in the Middle East. It is clear from the statements of leaders like Owaisi that India should maintain balance on both sides so that the lives, property of millions of Indians and the country’s economy remain safe. Common people are also wondering what will happen next and how India’s neutral image will be saved.
