After America and Israel’s attack on Iran, the Middle East has become a battlefield. After the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, America is now targeting Iran’s Navy. US President Donald Trump said that his army has destroyed and sunk 9 naval ships of Iran. He told that very soon the remaining ships of Iran will be destroyed.
Iran’s Navy headquarters destroyed: Trump
Trump posted on Social Truth and said, ‘I have just received information that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian naval ships, some of which were very large and important. We are moving towards the remaining ships and they will soon sink them in the sea. In another attack we have almost completely destroyed their (Iran’s) Navy Headquarters. Apart from this, their navy is performing very well.

Earlier, Iran’s government news agency IRNA, quoting IRCG, had claimed that under ‘Operation True Promise 4’, Iran’s army launched a missile attack on the American aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln. However, the American Central Command rejected this claim and said, ‘No attack on Lincoln was successful. The missiles fired by Iran did not even reach close to the aircraft carrier.
48 Iranian leaders eliminated in one stroke: Trump
US President Trump claimed on Sunday (1 March 2026) that so far 48 of its top leaders and military officers have been killed in the ongoing operation against Iran. In an interview with Fox News, Trump said, ‘We have eliminated 48 leaders of Iran in one fell swoop and the operation is progressing very fast.’ In an interview given to CNBC, he said, ‘Iran’s new leader wants to talk, to which I have agreed. Rani Shajan should have reached a compromise earlier.
Crisis of power in Iran after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
After the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran is in a period of uncertainty. It is clear from the statements of US lawmakers and Iranian officials that there is deep confusion in Tehran’s power structure about what will happen next. US Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Tom Cotton told CNN that the military operation will continue. He said, ‘In the coming days, the American people will see a systematic and planned crackdown on Iran’s missiles, their launchers and their missile manufacturing capabilities.’
While Washington is indicating to maintain military pressure, Tehran is calling these attacks as illegal aggression. It is clear from these contradictory statements that there is still deep doubt over which direction the process of leadership change will take in Iran.
