MS Dhoni Receives Notice From Jharkhand State Housing Board: Jharkhand State Housing Board has sent a notice to former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This notice has been sent to him regarding the alleged commercial use of the land allotted for his residence located in Harmu area of Ranchi. The board says that this plot was allotted to MS Dhoni only for residential purpose, but business activity is going on here against the rules.
MS Dhoni will have to answer within 15 days
In the letter issued by Jharkhand State Housing Board, it is clearly mentioned that MS Dhoni will have to present his side within 15 days. If satisfactory response is not received, the Board may recommend cancellation of allotment of Plot H-(10)A. This plot was given to Dhoni for residential use by the Jharkhand State Housing Board in 2009 on the recommendation of the Jharkhand Government. Board Chairman Sanjay Lal Paswan has confirmed the action after investigation in this matter. He said that notices have also been issued to many other people for similar violations.
How is Dhoni’s residence being used commercially?
The operation of a diagnostic center (Neiberg Pulse Diagnostics) at MS Dhoni’s Harmu residence is said to be a major cause of controversy. This residence is very special for cricket fans, because this was Dhoni’s old house. His name ‘Dhoni’, jersey number 7, his helicopter shot and wicket-keeping action are depicted on the wall of this house. However, Dhoni now lives with his family in his huge farmhouse, named Kailashapati, located on Simlia Ring Road in Ranchi. The residence at Harmu is now known as his old residence.
Copy of notice is going viral on social media
There is a lot of discussion regarding this matter on social media, where the copy of the notice is going viral rapidly. No official statement has come from MS Dhoni regarding this yet. However, he will soon be seen playing in IPL 2026. Where he has been a part of the Chennai Super Kings team for many years. This could also be the last IPL season of Dhoni, who has turned 44. Even though he retired from international cricket in the year 2020, he still remains a part of the IPL.
