Although the final cut has not been officially locked, but according to the report it is slightly shorter than Dhurandhar 2, whose runtime is said to be around 3 hours 40 minutes.
According to the report, a source said, “The final length of Toxic has not been decided yet, but it is around 200 minutes, i.e. 3 hours and 20 minutes. The makers feel that the film has a lot of entertainment and mass-appealing moments and the audience will not get bored or restless.”
Changed people’s attitude towards films with long run time
According to the report, the source further said that the audience’s attitude towards long films has changed in the last few years. The report quoted the source as saying, “Also, earlier, being a long film used to create a negative perception. But all this changed with Animal (2023). It was 3 hours 21 minutes long and achieved tremendous success at the box office. In recent times, Border 2 (2026) was released with a runtime of 3 hours 19 minutes, while the first part of Dhurandhar (2026) had a runtime of 3 hours. It was 34 minutes long. All these films with long run times were huge hits and it remains to be seen whether Toxic will also do the same or not.”
