But moving towards the end, Africa showed wonders.

New Zealand won the toss

In the match, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl, which proved to be right for them in the beginning. But by the end of the innings, the African batsmen did wonders and put a good total on the board for the semi-finals.

Africa’s bad start

Africa, which was invited to bat, had a very poor start. The team had lost the first 2 wickets on the score of just 12 runs. After this, the pair of captain Aiden Markram and Dewald Brewis made a partnership of 43 runs in 35 balls for the third wicket, which saved the innings. However, after this again Africa lost some wickets. But the partnership of Stubbs and Yanson for the sixth wicket did what was needed most for the team.

Apart from Yanson, Dewald Brevis played an inning of 34 runs for the team. However, apart from this, no other batsman of the team could even touch the 30 run mark. Now it will be interesting to see how the Kiwi team performs in the run chase. It will also be interesting to see which team enters the finals.
