His wife has accused him of having an extra marital affair with the actress. Amidst the allegations of infidelity, on March 5, Thalapathy Vijay attended a wedding with actress Trisha Krishnan in Chennai. The joint entry of both immediately caught the attention of netizens. In the viral video, Vijay can be seen holding a bouquet, while the actress got out of the car following him. Vijay and Trisha had attended the wedding reception of Kalpana Suresh and Meenakshi’s son. Kalpana family is associated with film production and distribution business. On stage, Vijay and Trisha posed together and gave bouquets of flowers to the newly married couple. It is noteworthy that amidst the legal battle with his wife, Vijay has been seen publicly with Trisha Krishnan for the first time.

Meanwhile, Sangeeta has alleged in her petition that Vijay was in an extra-marital relationship with a female actor. The petition alleges that in 2021, she came to know about Vijay being in an extra-marital relationship with an actress. It further states that despite his belief that the relationship would end, it allegedly continued without any regrets. According to reports, the case is currently in the District Court, and the outcome is yet to be decided.
