Hyderabad MP and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, in one of his speeches, made a scathing attack on the policies of America and the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre, saying that India is not a slave of any country and the sovereignty of the country cannot be compromised. He alleged that an American minister came to India and made a statement that he will not allow India to emerge like China, which is against the dignity of India. Owaisi questioned what role America has played in India’s progress and if any foreign leader makes such comments then the Indian government should respond to it.
Owaisi angry over America giving permission to buy oil
Owaisi expressed displeasure over America giving permission to buy oil. He said, ‘I want to ask BJP and RSS that how did Trump’s minister dare to give us time to buy oil? Who are they to give us orders? Why are they silent on this? This is a question of sovereignty of our country. Buying oil from others should be entirely our own discretion.

In his speech, Owaisi said that when it comes to the issues of Muslims, some political parties give open statements, but avoid commenting on America or leaders like Donald Trump. He sarcastically said that it seems as if some people are afraid to speak against him. Owaisi said that India does not need to bow before any foreign power and the government should take a clear stand on national interests.

Referring to international politics and security situation, Owaisi said that the methods of modern warfare are changing rapidly. Giving an example, he said that today a 20 thousand dollar drone can destroy military technology worth billions of dollars, hence India’s defense experts and policy makers should seriously consider a new strategy. He warned that if foreign military activities take place near India’s maritime zones and the government remains silent, it could create major security threats in the future.
He said that in global conflicts, arms manufacturing companies often benefit the most. During war, the demand for new weapons and defense systems increases and the policies of many countries are influenced by this economic interest. Owaisi said that behind many conflicts taking place in the world, the huge economic interest of the arms industry is also hidden.

Owaisi said that it is important to understand the real threat facing the country and political parties should leave the politics of hatred and focus on national security and economic strength. He said that India’s strength lies in its independent policy and the unity of its people, and this message should go to any foreign power that India will decide its own path.
