Three people died, while 11 other passengers were seriously injured in a tragic road accident on Saturday (7 March 2026) in Mahabubnagar district of Telangana. The accident occurred when a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus going from Hyderabad to Tirupati suddenly went out of control and crossed the divider and collided with a container lorry coming from the front. After this accident, there was chaos in the area and the police and local people reached the spot and started relief work.
According to the police, the accident occurred near Kommireddipalli area of ​​Moosapet mandal. It is being told that the bus was going from Hyderabad towards Tirupati. Suddenly the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, due to which the bus crossed the divider and went in the opposite direction and collided heavily with the container lorry coming from the front. The collision was so severe that the vehicles were badly damaged.

In the accident, the driver and cleaner of the container lorry died on the spot, while the bus driver was taken to the hospital in a critical condition, where he died during treatment. Police said that 11 passengers in the bus were injured, who were immediately admitted to the Government General Hospital, Mahabubnagar for treatment. According to doctors, the condition of some of the injured remains critical. After the accident, relief work was carried out to rescue the passengers trapped in the bus. Many passengers were trapped inside the bus, who were taken out through the emergency door of the bus. Local people also helped in the rescue work and took the injured to a safe place until the ambulance arrived.
