The cost of this airport is Rs 1,507 crore. This is expected to boost connectivity, tourism and economic development in Hadoti area. In his address, PM Modi gave credit to Om Birla for development and also mentioned the new IIIT campus and road related projects.

Among them, Congress’s Mohammed Javed, Kodikunnil Suresh and Mallu Ravi have accused the Speaker of supporting his party and making unnecessary allegations against the women of the opposition.
Birla has suspended the opposition MPs for the entire parliamentary term for raising public issues, but the ruling party members were not reprimanded for insulting the former PM.
