After the demise of late Sanjay Kapoor, his wife Priya Sachdev Kapoor celebrated her first birthday today. This day proved to be a very difficult and sad moment for him. On this special occasion, Priya shared a screenshot of Sanjay’s old tweet on Instagram story, in which Sanjay had wished Priya on her birthday.
Sanjay Kapoor had given a special message for Priya in his post. In which it was written – ‘When I count my happiness, I count you twice. You are the heart of our family, my best friend, and the best mother to our children. Thank you for filling our lives with your warmth, love and never ending happiness. We love you more than words. Happy birthday to my forever partner.
Got emotional remembering her husband
Priya became quite emotional while sharing this wish of Sanjay Kapoor on her Instagram story. He wrote in his post- ‘Today is a difficult day for me. I always waited for your birthday cards and wishes. They were full of your love, affection and appreciation for me. How can I celebrate my life when I have lost the love of my life?
Priya further wrote- ‘In small moments, I feel you close to me. Today the kids made a birthday card for me and Safira wished me at midnight. This is enough for me. Through the children, I see the same love and appreciation that you had for me and I know that you are still with us.
Heart attack while playing polo
According to reports, Sanjay died of a heart attack on June 12 while playing polo in London, United Kingdom. His last rites were performed on June 19 at the Lodhi Road cremation ground in South Delhi in the presence of family and close people. Let us tell you that Sanjay Sona was the chairman of Comstar. Priya is his third wife. Earlier, Sanjay had married Karisma Kapoor and Nandita Mahtani.
