Weather Forecast: Scorching heat, mercury crosses 40, know the weather department’s warning regarding Delhi-UP and Bihar

With the beginning of March, the heat has started increasing in many parts of the country. The temperature in Akola, Maharashtra has already crossed 40 degrees Celsius. Heat has also started increasing in cities like Delhi, Patna, Lucknow, Bhopal and Chandigarh. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a large atmospheric circulation has formed in the Bay of Bengal near Myanmar. This system is slowly moving towards India. Due to this, changes will be seen in the weather.

The heat has started increasing in Delhi-NCR since the beginning of March. The Meteorological Department estimates that there may be light clouds in the sky for the next three days, but much relief from the heat is not expected. At present the weather remains dry in Punjab and Haryana. There is no possibility of any major change here for the next few days. Due to strong sunlight during the day, the temperature may increase gradually.

Heat started increasing in UP
With the beginning of March in Uttar Pradesh, the heat has started becoming severe. In many districts the temperature was recorded 4 to 8 degrees Celsius above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, at present the weather will remain dry in the state and the temperature will continue to increase gradually. However, after March 14, there is a possibility of light rain in some areas due to the effect of western disturbance.

These days the sunshine is getting stronger in the afternoon in the southern districts. In many cities people are avoiding leaving their homes in the afternoon. On Monday, Banda was the hottest district of the state, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius, which is about 6 degrees more than normal.

The temperature in Jhansi was 37.9 degrees Celsius, in Agra it was 37.3 degrees Celsius, in Prayagraj it was 36.2 degrees Celsius. In many districts the temperature has been recorded 6 to 8 degrees above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, today on March 10, the maximum temperature in Lucknow will be 35-39 degrees Celsius, minimum 20-22 degrees Celsius. In Kanpur, Ghaziabad and Meerut the maximum will be 38-40 degrees Celsius, minimum 20-23 degrees Celsius.

Bihar weather
The heat in Bihar has already started making it feel like May. On Monday (March 9), the mercury crossed 35 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state, which has broken the record of the last several years. Buxar, Gaya, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Patna are in bad condition. Heat like conditions have arisen here. According to the Meteorological Department, due to an active western disturbance, a change in the weather may be seen from Wednesday.
