The final results of the parliamentary elections held in Nepal have come out. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has achieved a clear majority by winning 125 out of 165 seats. This victory is considered to be a big change in the politics of Nepal because for the first time a new party has got such a big success. Meanwhile, the main contender for the post of Prime Minister and senior leader of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Balendra Shah has talked about further strengthening the relations between India and Nepal.

He says that in the coming time, the historical and close relations between the two countries will be further improved so that both the countries can get concrete benefits. 35-year-old Balendra Shah was earlier known as a rapper, but in the last few years he has increasingly made a name for himself in politics. Due to his clean image and new ideas, his support among the youth has increased.

After the success of his party in the recent elections, the process of forming a new government has started in Nepal. In such a situation, Balendra Shah is being considered among the strong contenders for the post of Prime Minister. If he becomes Prime Minister, he will be one of the youngest Prime Ministers of Nepal. Besides, he is also being seen as the first Prime Minister of Madhesi origin of the country, which can be considered a big change in the politics of Nepal. Experts believe that if a new government is formed under his leadership, then new steps can be seen in the areas of trade, investment and border related cooperation between India and Nepal.

When will the parliamentary party meeting take place?

The Election Commission of Nepal is likely to submit the final results to the President on March 15–16. After this, RSP will hold its parliamentary party meeting on March 19. In this meeting, the leader of the parliamentary party will be elected, who will become the next Prime Minister of the country. According to sources, if the process goes as per schedule, the new Prime Minister of Nepal may be sworn in on March 20 or 21. The big victory of RSP in this election is being seen as the desire of the people of Nepal for change.
