Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha and Aditi Bhatia starrer film ‘The Kerala Story 2’ has successfully completed two weeks of its release in theatres. During this period, this film has performed well at the Indian box office. While it earned Rs 22.9 crores in the first week, it earned Rs 2.7 crores on the 8th day, Rs 3.75 crores on the 9th day, Rs 3.3 crores on the 10th day, Rs 1.95 crores on the 11th day and on the 12th day i.e. second Tuesday, it earned Rs 2.15 crores. On its second Wednesday, i.e. 13th day, its collection declined as expected and stood at Rs 1.59 crore.

Against this cost, it has so far earned a net income of Rs 39.96 crore, due to which its return on investment (ROI) is close to Rs 11 crore. That means it has earned more than 37 percent profit. With this, ‘The Kerala Story 2’ has beaten the profit of 31.72 percent of ‘Border 2’ made with a budget of Rs 275 crore.
