Model works with accuracy
Researchers from Australia’s Edith Cowen University have prepared this model. It has been named ‘Jack of Many Faces’ and can detect whether a driver is drunk or tired with 90 percent accuracy. The model can also tell how much intoxication the driver is under. Similarly, it can also detect the driver being angry etc. Researchers say that excessive fatigue can also lead to intoxication-like state and violent incidents can occur on the road due to anger. By detecting these three, this model works for the safety of drivers.
Can work even in darkness
Another advantage of this model is that it can work even in darkness. Actually, many standard cameras do not work properly in low light conditions. For this, this model combines regular video with infrared footage, which makes it easier to detect facial expressions.
