AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has once again boldly said those things which many people think but are afraid to say. He enumerated one incident after another and asked whether being a Muslim has now become a crime in this country?
Owaisi mentioned the fight in Delhi which started with dirty water and ended with the death of a soldier, an elderly man, the arrest of three women and two children and the destruction of an entire house by bulldozers. He clearly said, “This was not a punishment, it was a message and there is no need to explain to anyone who that message was for.”
AIMIM MP gave example of many people
Referring to West Garo Hills of Meghalaya, Owaisi said that Khairul Islam and Ashraful Islam were murdered during the elections by calling them merely Bengali and Mia. Jama Masjid Tura was desecrated. The murderers openly declared that Allah-hu-Akbar will not work here. Owaisi asked whether the mosque had also come from outside?
Taking one name each of Roshan Khatoon of Bihar, Aamir Khan of Bhiwadi, 65-year-old Abdul Salam of Darbhanga, Owaisi reminded that these were not statistics, they were human beings. Abdul Salam had just gone to pacify the youth shouting slogans of hatred, but his life was taken away with an iron rod.
What did Owaisi say on DSP’s video?
Owaisi got enraged over a video of a DSP, in which the officer was threatening Muslims and saying that if you object to Iran, they will send you to jail, if you have any problem then go to Iran. Owaisi said directly, “This country does not belong to your father. Article 19 is the right of every Indian.”
The most painful question was the one he asked after watching a video of a 12 year old child, where did so much hatred come from at this age? Who is filling this poison in little hearts? Owaisi’s answer was clear: When politics turns hatred into a weapon, its fire burns the soul of not just one community but the entire India.
