He said, “He (Aditya Dhar) came to me for ‘Dhurandhar 2’. He wanted me to do a small cameo in the film.” The actor further said that he had to reject this offer because he already had commitments for another film on the same dates.
Anil Kapoor said, “Whatever I am today is because of my professionalism and my commitment. This is very important. Talent alone cannot make you what you are. So, those days were booked for another filmmaker. I said, ‘Aditya, I would have loved to do this cameo, but these days I am already committed.’

Anil called it his ‘loss’ and also explained in detail why it was the right decision. He said, “He is releasing the film now. It’s a brilliant film, and it’s my loss, but that’s okay. At least I have this thought in my mind that this can happen to him too. There might be some other filmmaker who has given a big blockbuster at that time, and I have given a commitment to Aditya, and I go and do that film, and cancel his dates. That would be completely unprofessional, so he offered me, and Hopefully we will work together.”
