Now Mika Singh lives a luxury life and is surrounded by many bodyguards. But there was a time when his current bodyguard refused to work with him and called him a struggler.
Mika Singh was rejected by the bodyguard
Filmmaker Farah Khan recently visited Mika Singh’s Delhi farmhouse. In Farah’s video, Mika introduced him to his bodyguard Kartar.
He said- This is Kartar Bhai. When Kartar bent down to touch Farah’s feet, Mika jokingly said – This is not decent at all. When I met him 30 years ago. So I said that you are tall and broad body, will you be my bodyguard? So he said- You start the work first? You are struggling yourself.
Then Farah asked Kartar whether he had really said that and Kartar nodded yes. Mika further said, ‘Yes, Kartar had really said so. Generally people work to impress girls. In my case, I worked hard and made a successful career so that I could make Kartar a bodyguard.
Mika used to play tabla in Gurudwara
Apart from this, Mika told how his family supported him in his journey. Mika said, ‘My father used to do kirtan in the Gurudwara and he loved music. Most of the singers of Punjab usually take training from there. He learns Gurbani and picks ragas. I used to play tabla in kirtha. It is Waheguru’s blessings that we have come here. At that time I had thought that when I earn a lot of money, I will definitely build a Gurudwara. Mika has built a Gurudwara in his farmhouse. There is also a temple in his property.
