BMW breaks divider in Filmnagar, Hyderabad, accident averted due to airbag opening, case registered under BNS

There was a stir in the Filmnagar area of ​​Hyderabad on Monday when a luxury BMW car went out of control and collided with the road divider. This car, which was traveling at high speed, collided with the divider in Filmnagar, due to which the front part of the car got heavily damaged. As soon as the collision occurred, the airbags of the car opened immediately, due to which the people in the car were saved from a major accident.

Police registered a case

Banjara Hills Police said that a suo motu case has been registered in this matter and investigation has been started. Police have registered a case against the car owner and the driver, a woman, identified as Kausar, under section 106(1) of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) for rash and negligent driving. Preliminary investigation revealed that due to excessive speed, the tire of the car burst, due to which control was lost and the car hit the divider.

Another luxury car was the victim of an accident

This incident has come at a time when a few days ago a Ferrari car met with an accident on Road No. 45 of Jubilee Hills. Overspeeding of luxury vehicles is becoming a serious and recurring problem on the roads of Hyderabad. On the same day, another tragic road accident took place in the city.

On March 15, a speeding car hit the bike of a medical representative from behind in Medipally area. His wife and child were also riding on the bike. The car crushed the victim and his wife. The man died on the spot while the wife and child were admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Hyderabad Police is examining the CCTV footage.
