David Dhawan remembers Govinda while writing every scene, Varun Dhawan revealed about his father

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is in the news these days. Recently, he reached Kapil Sharma’s comedy show with his father and famous director David Dhawan, where both of them shared many interesting stories related to their career and films. During the conversation, Varun told that whenever his father thinks or writes a scene of a film, he always remembers Govinda.

David Dhawan remembers Govinda in every scene

At the time of the show, David Dhawan told that he has worked with Govinda in about 17 films in his career and almost all the films have been superhit. Govinda is one of the best actors with whom he has worked. On this, Varun Dhawan jokingly said that whenever a new scene is written, his father immediately starts thinking how ‘Chichi Bhaiya’ i.e. Govinda will do that scene.

No one can match Govinda

Varun also told that he always tells his father that he too has to play the same scene in his own way for his audience, but it is a big challenge to match a big artist like Govinda. His father sometimes also tells him how Salman Khan, Govinda or Anil Kapoor would have played a scene, but in the end he has to decide how the scene would look in Varun Dhawan’s style.

Let us tell you, David Dhawan and Govinda are one of the most successful comedy pairs of Bollywood. Together they gave many superhit films, which include films like ‘Hero No. 1’, ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Raja Babu’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’. Their last film ‘Do Not Disturb’ was released in 2009. David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan have also worked together in many films, like ‘Main Tera Hero’, ‘Judwaa 2’ and ‘Coolie No. 1’. Apart from this, the duo will now be seen in the film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ releasing on June 12.
