Speaking to news agency PTI, Suryakumar Yadav said, “You get what is written in your destiny. I started playing red ball cricket and played Ranji Trophy for 10-12 years. Played a lot of red ball cricket in Mumbai. If you have grown up in Mumbai, you start with red ball only.”

Couldn’t do anything special in ODI

Surya further talked about white ball cricket and said, “When I started playing white ball cricket, I got inclined towards it. Then I got interested in T20. I also tried to do well in ODI cricket, but could not do anything special. With the way T20 cricket is going, it can be said that my hand is set in it.”

What did Surya say on his return to Test?

Talking about returning to Test cricket, Surya said, “I would be very happy, because as I told, I have played red ball cricket from 2010 to 2020. Playing red ball for 10 years is a very long time.
