Regarding the Middle East war, US President Donald Trump claimed on Monday (16 March 2026) that Iran’s military power has been destroyed. He said that more than 7000 targets have been attacked in Iran. The US President once again said that we want China and Japan to come and help us.
US President Donald Trump said, ‘Our powerful military campaign to eliminate the Iranian government has been going on in full force for the past few days. They have been almost completely destroyed. Their (Iran) air force and navy have been destroyed. More than 100 of their ships and many warships have been sunk. Their anti-aircraft systems, radar have been destroyed and their leaders have also been killed. They were spreading terror for 47 years and now action is being taken against them, which should have been taken many years ago.
More than 7000 Iranian bases destroyed: Trump
The US President said, ‘Since the beginning of the war, we have attacked more than 7,000 targets in Iran, most of which were commercial and military targets. There has been a 90 percent reduction in their ballistic missile launches and 95 percent reduction in drone attacks. We have also attacked the manufacturing plants of missiles and drones and this trend continues even today. We have attacked three of them today itself.
Trump said, ‘We attacked Kharg Island and completely destroyed it. We destroyed everything on the island except the oil reserves. We left the pipelines there. We didn’t want to do this, but we had to do it. With the aim of rebuilding that country (Iran) in the future, I think we did the right thing. Now Iran will not be able to increase missile and drone capability again because we have destroyed it.
The Strait of Hormuz is kept in good condition: Trump
The US President said that we have kept the Strait of Hormuz in very good condition. He claimed, ‘We have already controlled Iran. Since it is a narrow area, this is one of the reasons why Iran has always used it as a weapon. Iran has always used it as an economic weapon and it will not be used for very long. Many countries have told me that they are moving in this direction. Some countries are very excited about this and there are some countries that we have helped for many years.
