Game worth crores in the name of deposit scheme, ED intensified action, attached property worth Rs 3.46 crore

The Mumbai unit of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has once again taken major action and temporarily attached property worth Rs 3.46 crore. This action was taken on March 26, 2026, in a money laundering case related to Gyanradha Multistate Cooperative Credit Society Limited (DMCCSL). It is being told that the properties which have been attached are office units located in Kharghar area of Navi Mumbai.

The whole case started on the FIR lodged in different police stations.

This case started on the basis of several FIRs registered in different police stations of Maharashtra. It is alleged that Suresh Kute and his associates lured people through DMCCSL by offering attractive returns of 12% to 14%. A large number of investors invested money in this scheme, but later they either did not get the money or were paid only partially.

What has come to light in the ED investigation?

ED investigation revealed that a huge amount of about Rs 2,467 crore was transferred to Kutte Group companies in the name of loan. These companies were controlled by Suresh Kute and his wife Archana Kute. The surprising thing is that these loans were given without any solid documents, guarantee or proof of proper use. Later this money was used for personal gains and other businesses.

ED has so far conducted several raids in this case and has attached many properties. Overall, assets worth about Rs 1,625 crore have been seized or frozen so far. Suresh Kute has already been arrested in this case and a charge sheet has been filed against him in the special PMLA court of Mumbai. Recently, on March 2, 2026, Archana Kute was also arrested, who was sent to judicial custody by the court on March 7.
