The war between Israel, America and Iran, which started on February 28 last month, is continuing. America and Israel are continuously attacking Iran through missiles and drones, while Iran’s army is retaliating. Iran’s army has launched missile attacks on Israel in the 83rd phase of its military action, but before the attack with these missiles, the Iranian army had written ‘Thank You People of India’ on the missiles. Amidst the ongoing conflict in West Asia, this picture has been shared by the Iranian Consulate in Mumbai and the Iranian government media, in which the people of India are being thanked. Some similar messages have also been written by the Iranian Army to the people of Pakistan, Spain and Germany, which indicate an expression of gratitude to the countries sympathetic towards Tehran.

Iran’s government news channel said in its report that these messages were seen during the 83rd phase of Iranian military action, which is part of Operation True Promise 4, which is being carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). IRGC said in its official statement that in this phase of Iranian military action, major military bases of America and Israel have been targeted. These include oil storage facilities in Ashdod, military bases near Modin and a US military information exchange center.

Why did Iranian Army mention India?
The mention of India by the Iranian military reflects recent developments that have highlighted the good relations between the two countries during this conflict. Iran recently confirmed that it is allowing safe passage to Indian ships through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, while the ban on ships belonging to the US and its allies continues. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that India is one of the few friendly countries whose ships will not be stopped despite the war-like situation in the area.
People of Kashmir donated generously to Iran
Apart from this, another reason behind this message could be the humanitarian assistance given to Iran by Indians, especially the people of Kashmir. Recently, the people of Kashmir launched a huge donation campaign to help the people affected by the Iran war. People had donated cash, gold and silver jewellery, silver, brass and copper utensils, land, cars, bikes and many other things as donations to the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi.
