K Kavita was suspended in September 2025
Kavita was suspended from BRS in September 2025 on charges of ‘anti-party activities’, after which she also resigned from the party membership and the post of MLC. Since then, she was continuously engaged in charting a new political path.
During her last speech in the Legislative Council in January 2026, she had announced that she was leaving the Assembly as an individual, but would return as a powerful political force. Kavitha also demonstrated her strategic ability in the recent Telangana municipal elections, when her supported AIFB candidates left Congress and BRS behind by winning 8 out of 10 seats in Vaddepalli Municipality.
In today’s meeting, Kavita openly said, ‘We will change the future of Telangana. But we cannot depend on anyone else for that. We have to get into the field ourselves, get our feet and hands dirty and build it ourselves, brick by brick. This speech seemed to deeply influence the thousands of youth present.
Against the three big parties. struggle of poetry
This political struggle of Kavita is against the three big parties BRS, BJP and Congress. He also clarified that this is not a fight for property, but a fight for self-respect. He said that a new political platform is coming in the state. We will contest the next elections and emerge as a major political force.
For the official party launch to be held on April 25, Kavitha has invited all sections of youth, women, backward classes and common citizens of Telangana to join Jagriti Party. This announcement is being considered as the beginning of a new chapter in Telangana politics.
