West Asia Tensions: US President Donald Trump, while addressing the press from the White House, made many important and strict statements regarding the Iran war. He said that the US Army conducted the “largest rescue operation ever” to save one of its soldiers, in which about 200 soldiers were deployed and 21 military aircraft were sent into the enemy airspace. According to Trump, the pilot had fallen in enemy territory i.e. Iran, where he was safely evacuated under extremely dangerous circumstances.
Trump said that during the rescue operation, American planes were fired at very close range, but despite this, the pilot’s courage did not break and the army saved him with all its might. He praised the “bravery and courage” of the American army.
Iran will be ruined in one night
However, Trump also showed a tough stance in his statement. He warned that the US could “destroy all of Iran in just one night,” adding that such action “could happen at any time.” There may be increased concern at the international level regarding this statement, because it indicates further intensification of tension between the United States and Iran.
The US President further said in his statement that the US Army self-destructed its own aircraft during the operation, so that it did not fall into the hands of the enemy. He also claimed that someone had leaked information related to this mission, due to which investigation has now been intensified to trace that person or network. Trump clearly said that leaking of such sensitive information is a very serious matter and the culprits will not be spared.
Trump praised CIA
During this, he also praised the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and said that the agency played an important role in the entire operation. It is clear from these statements of Trump that on one hand America wants to show its military strength and successful operations, while on the other hand it is also serious about internal security and intelligence leaks. Also, he praised the courage and capability of the soldiers, describing the work of the US Army as “amazing”.
On the other hand, just before US President Donald Trump’s speech at the White House, Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said that Iran is not going to stop from killing leaders.
Trump said that this operation had become challenging for us because someone had leaked our information. He said, ‘We did not talk much about this matter. Then someone leaked some information. Hopefully we will find the person who leaked the information and punish him.
