There will be talks now after 300 deaths! Israel’s U-turn amid attacks on Lebanon?

Just a few days after Israel’s recent attacks on Lebanon, preparations are being made for talks between the two countries. Let us tell you that after the announcement of ceasefire, more than 300 people were killed and more than a thousand people were injured in the Israeli attack on Lebanon. According to AFP report, important talks will be held between Israel and Lebanon in America next week. According to the US State Department, the ceasefire and the current situation will be discussed in this conversation, so that a way can be found to reduce the tension.

This conversation is taking place at a time when talks between Iran and America are also going to take place in Pakistan. Apart from this, recently there has been a two-week ceasefire between the two countries, but there is a dispute regarding the inclusion of Lebanon in it. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he has approved direct talks with Lebanon as soon as possible. He also made it clear that the main issue of this conversation will be to disarm Hezbollah. However, he also said that military action against Hezbollah in Lebanon would continue.

Hezbollah rejected talks

Hezbollah leader Ali Fayyad has completely rejected any kind of talks with Israel. He said that Lebanon will not accept any direct talks and first Israel will have to stop the attacks and withdraw its forces. Whether Lebanon was included in the ceasefire or not has now become a major controversy. Israel and the US say that Lebanon was not part of the agreement, while Iran and Pakistan say that Lebanon was included. Meanwhile, Israel continues to attack Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The army says they have targeted launch sites linked to Hezbollah.
