The delegations of America and Iran are expected to reach Pakistan’s capital Islamabad late on Friday (April 10, 2026). Both the countries will meet with each other on April 11 under the mediation of Pakistan. According to sources, the meeting and meeting of delegations from both the countries can be held at Pakistan Air Force Officers’ Mess Building located in E-9 Sector of Islamabad.

According to sources, Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, Pakistan Army, Islamabad Police and Pakistani Rangers have recommended holding the meeting here, considering the Air Force Officers’ Mess Building as the most suitable from security point of view. Also, the Prime Minister’s residence and the office of the Ministry of External Affairs have been kept as options and if there is any change at the last moment or in case of emergency, it has been recommended to hold a meeting at the Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to the information, the roads leading to E-9 sector have been blocked 2 kilometers in advance. Also, anti-drone system and jamming system have been activated in the area. The Officers’ Mess Building is located within the Headquarters Complex of Pakistan Air Force in E-9 Sector. Private programs of Air Force officers have been canceled at the PAF Officers’ Mess till Sunday (12 April 2026).

Islamabad Police and Army have closed all the roads leading to Pakistan Air Force Officers Mess – Constitution Avenue, Margalla Road, Jinnah Avenue, Rafiq Road, Mushaf Avenue 2 kilometers in advance. However, till now the Government of Pakistan has not decided the venue at which the delegations of both the countries will hold talks and the final decision on this has to be taken by Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief of Defense Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Unannounced curfew will be imposed in Pakistan
Serena Hotel located in J-5 sector of Pakistan has been vacated till Sunday due to the stay of representatives of both the countries and according to the information, delegates of Iran and America will stay in Serena Hotel. Besides, ISI, Pakistani Army, Rangers and Islamabad Police have also said in their recommendation that if it is decided to hold talks at Serena Hotel, then in such a situation the entire Red Zone will be blocked from within and an undeclared curfew like situation will have to be imposed.
