In the important meeting of the Adhoc Committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), many important decisions have been taken to give impetus to cricket activities again. After the meeting, there have been indications that concrete initiatives will be taken towards holding RCA elections within the next three months. A detailed roadmap is being prepared for this.
Along with this, an important decision has also been taken to organize Rajasthan Premier League (RPL) on the lines of IPL in Rajasthan. Many teams from Rajasthan will participate in RPL and it will be organized on the lines of IPL.
Decisions related to RCA will be taken as per fixed SOP: Dr. Mohit
Rajasthan Cricket Association Convener Dr. Mohit Yadav said that it was made clear in the meeting that now all important decisions of RCA will be taken as per the fixed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Its objective is to ensure transparency and accountability in the functioning of the organization.

Dr. Mohit Yadav told that letters have been sent to Rajasthan Government and Rajasthan State Sports Council regarding RPL. In these letters, the cooperation expected from RCA and the role of various agencies have been clarified, so that better coordination can be established during big events.
He said, ‘A big decision has also been taken in the meeting regarding the respect of the players. A grand awards ceremony will be organized in the first week of May, in which the talented cricketers of the state will be honored.
Disputes will be resolved on priority: RCA
It has been decided to resolve the ongoing disputes in district cricket associations on priority. The committee assured that the districts where disputes are prevailing will be resolved soon and cricket activities will be made smooth. Besides, it has also been decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh per month to each district cricket association, so that cricket can be strengthened at the grassroots level.
Construction of Choup Stadium will start soon: Dhananjay
At the same time, Adhoc Committee member Dhananjay Singh Khinvsar said that the committee has also planned to organize a competition like Rajasthan Premier League within the next six months, so that the players of the state can get a bigger platform. Apart from this, it has been said that the construction work of RCA’s Chop Stadium located in Jaipur will start soon. The aim of the committee is that this stadium can be inaugurated during the tenure of the present government.
