All India Muslim Jamaat President Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi has expressed displeasure over the bulldozer action on a Muslim colony in Bengaluru. Regarding this, he cornered the Congress government of Karnataka and said that this government is not friendly to Muslims.
While talking to news agency IANS on Monday (December 29, 2025), Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi claimed, ‘There were more than 400 people of Muslim community in this colony. Whose houses were destroyed. The Karnataka government is following the footsteps of the Uttar Pradesh government, which cannot be accepted under any circumstances. There could have been other options instead of running bulldozers in that colony. If the government wanted, it could have given a place to the people living in these colonies to live in some other place. But, unfortunately, the government did not take any step in this direction. On the contrary, these people considered it necessary to destroy this colony of Bengaluru.
Maulana said that the people living in that colony are crying and wailing but unfortunately there is no one to understand their pain. No one is ready to listen to his sigh. The present government of Karnataka should understand the sorrow and pain of the people there and work towards removing it, so as to ensure that they do not have to face any kind of problem.
He said that this government of Karnataka claims that we are well-wishers of Muslims. I don’t understand what kind of well-wisher you are. Looking at the way you people destroyed the colony, can it be said that you are well-wishers of Muslims? Your attitude does not seem to match at all with the slogan in which you are saying that we are well-wishers of Muslims.
He said that the Karnataka government is lying to the people of the Muslim community and it is telling this lie with the aim of gaining political mileage. But, the Muslims of Karnataka are watching the attitude of this government very well.
Shahabuddin Rajavi has described the attacks on Hindu community in Bangladesh as a matter of concern for India. He said that the fundamentalist forces there are conspiring against India, but we will not let this conspiracy come to fruition under any circumstances.
He said that whatever step is taken by the Indian government in the context of the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, the Muslims of India will openly support it. He demanded that the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh should be stopped at all costs. Such attacks will not be accepted under any circumstances. The amount of condemnation it deserves is less. We strongly condemn the attack on the Hindu community in Bangladesh.
