Now there will be no need for a phone to watch reels and people will be able to enjoy short videos on Meta’s smart glasses. Meta launched Meta Ray-Ban Display smart glasses with in-lens display this year. Now a big upgrade is coming for them. According to reports, these smart glasses are going to get EMG handwriting and Instagram reels support. After this, these smart glasses will be able to do tasks that seem like films in real life.
What is EMG Handwriting feature?
After the introduction of EMG handwriting feature, users wearing Meta Neural Band will be able to write or draw anything on any flat surface. This feature can detect movement in the muscles of the hand by using meta neural band. In this way users will be able to write or draw anything on the flat surface. Meta’s Chief Technology Officer Andrew Bosworth confirmed this and said that it will soon be available to the users. It can be rolled out for users early next year.
Reels will be visible only on smart glasses
The second feature coming in Meta Smartglasses is related to reels. Currently Meta is testing this feature. Let us tell you that the right lens of Meta’s Ray-Ban Display smart glasses has a bright and high-resolution display, on which notifications and messages are visible so far and reels will also start appearing on it soon. Bosworth said that internal testing of this feature is currently going on and it will be rolled out in the next few months. Let us tell you that smart glasses with Meta display are currently available for sale only in America and their price is $ 799 (about 72,634 Indian rupees). These are expected to be launched in many countries including Canada, France and Italy next year.
