Nepal Police influenced by the functioning of Delhi Police, discussion took place on training and technology

Under the aegis of Delhi Police Academy, a high level delegation of Nepal Police reached Delhi Police Headquarters. This delegation is on a study tour of India under the Police Leadership and Staff Course of Nepal. The purpose of the tour is to understand the practices of policing at the international level and develop better leadership skills.

12 Nepalese officers met Delhi Police officers

In this program organized at Delhi Police Headquarters, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha interacted with 17 trainee officers and 8 trainer officers of Nepal Police. During the conversation, the Police Commissioner shared his experiences of maintaining law and order in a metropolis like Delhi.

He explained how peace and security are ensured through effective strategies even in complex and challenging situations. The delegation showed special interest in the functioning of Delhi Police and modern policing model.

Learned about new methodology and work style

On this occasion, Special Police Commissioner Atul Katiyar, who is taking charge of the training division, informed the delegation about the training system of Delhi Police, the facilities of the academy and the modern training given to new police personnel.

He said that Delhi Police lays special emphasis on technology, discipline and practical training. Joint Director of Delhi Police Academy Asif Mohammad Ali and Deputy Director Mohammad Ali were also present in the program. After the meeting, Nepal Police officials were given a brief tour of Delhi Police Headquarters. During this, he was informed about the functioning of various offices including Social Media Centre, Fitness Lounge, Knowledge Center (Library), PFWS Store. In the coming days, the delegation will also visit some police stations and traffic circles of Delhi.

This meeting of Nepal Police will strengthen both the countries.

This study tour of Nepal Police focuses on interaction and sharing of experiences with key institutions in India like CBI, BPR&D, CDTI and NSG besides Delhi Police. This visit is expected to further strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding between the police of the two countries.
