Many people living outside home are not able to talk to their parents and other family members for several days. Many times they do not remember to talk to their parents due to work or other arrangements. Then when parents complain about it, they have no answer. Now Samsung has tried to find a solution to this problem. The company is soon going to roll out a new feature, in which an alert will be sent to the phone user reminding him that he should talk to his family members. It will also be written in the alert when he last talked to them.
Feature will come in OneUI 8.5
Samsung recently released the beta preview of OneUI 8.5. In this update, along with bug fixes and performance improvements, a new feature will also be available, which will remind you to talk to family members. According to reports, an alert will appear in Now Brief found in Samsung phones, which will read, ‘Say Hello to your family.’ Along with this, a contact card will also be given in it, by tapping on which you will be able to talk to your family member instantly. Along with this, there will also be a Note Now button, which will dismiss the message. At the bottom of the alert, it will be written when you last talked to them.
These bugs will be fixed
In the OneUI 8.5 update, Samsung is fixing the issue of Now Briefing not displaying along with fixing the clock display error on the lock screen. Apart from this, issues like screen lagging, high power consumption while using live effects in Gallery will also be fixed. Samsung has also released the January 2026 security patch in it. Currently it has been rolled out for beta users in South Korea and America.
