The US stock market continued to fall for the fourth consecutive session on Wednesday, as heavy selling in AI-related stocks overshadowed expectations of further interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve. The S&P 500 fell 1.16% to 6,721.43, the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.81% to 22,693.32 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 228.29 points, or 0.47%, to 47,885.97.
