This year, in the Republic Day celebrations, the roar of victory of Operation Sindoor is going to be heard in the sky of the duty path. This year, in the fly-past of the Indian Air Force, fighter planes will be seen flying in a new vermilion formation. These fighter planes include Rafale, Sukhoi, MiG-29 and Jaguar.
According to the Air Force, the flypast will begin with the flag formation in the sky of the duty path on January 26. Four (04) Me-17 helicopters will participate in this formation. The leading helicopter will have the national flag (tricolour), and the remaining three (0) will have the flags of the Army, Air Force and Navy. The second formation is of Prahar. The Prahar formation will have three (03) ALH (Advanced Light Helicopters). One of these helicopters will fly carrying the flag of Operation Sindoor.
‘The strategy of Operation Sindoor will also be a part of the fly past’
In a special conversation with ABP News, Wing Commander of the Air Force Rajiv Deswal said that this is the first Republic Day celebration after Operation Sindoor. In such a situation, the strategy of Operation Sindoor will also be a part of the fly past. In such a situation, there will be a special spearhead formation in the fly-past. 02-02 Rafale (Rafale), Sukhoi (Su-30) and MiG-29 fighter jets of the Air Force will take part in this formation of spear-like weapons. A Jaguar fighter jet will also be seen in this formation. These four are those fighter jets which took part in Operation Sindoor against Pakistan.
After the Pahalgam massacre, Rafale and Sukhoi fighter jets of the Indian Air Force, during Operation Sindoor (7-10 May), destroyed military bases of the Pakistani Air Force, including the headquarters of terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba operating from Pakistan.
Fly past will be held in two phases
According to Wing Commander Deshwal, this time the fly-past will be in two phases. The first phase will be during the marching contingent of the Air Force on the duty path, in which the Sindoor formation will be visible. The second phase will take place after the march-past on the duty path is over. Rafale fighter aircraft will be the main attraction in this phase.
There will be 114 air warriors in the marching contingent of the Air Force, which will be led by Squadron Leader Jagdesh Kumar. Flight Lieutenant Akshita Dhankhar will accompany the President in the flag hoisting. For the first time, Agniveers have also been included in the military band of the Air Force. Along with men, women-Agniveer are also included in these.
