Norway’s US$1.2 trillion sovereign wealth fund, the world’s largest, has decided to exit Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) from its investment portfolio. According to PTI report, Norway’s Norges Bank on its website has included AGEL in the list of companies which have been excluded from the portfolio. According to the report, earlier in May 2024, Norges Bank had also excluded Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd from its portfolio. When Norges Bank bought AGEL shares in July 2020, its share price was Rs 341, which has now increased to around Rs 944.
