Adani Group company Adani Power informed on Sunday that the company has received Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 1,600 MW electricity. The company said that this electricity will be provided from one of its upcoming ultra-supercritical thermal power projects. According to the company, this LoA was received after a competitive bidding process, in which Adani Power emerged as the company offering the lowest tariff. The company had offered power supply at a combined tariff of Rs 5.30 per unit (kWh). The supply of electricity under the proposed 25-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) is likely to start from FY 2030-31.
