The tension on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan has now reached its peak. Last night, Afghanistan launched major attacks on Pakistan, in which the Afghan Defense Ministry claims that more than 55 Pakistani soldiers were killed, many were injured and 19 military posts were destroyed. The Afghan army attacked in 6 sectors and fighting started in 2 new sectors in the morning.

According to Afghanistan’s Defense Ministry and spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid, the Afghan army launched a massive attack last night in response to Pakistan’s air strikes on February 22. The attacks lasted from 9 pm to 1 am IST and used mortars, artillery, tanks and multi-barrel rocket launchers. Main sectors where the attacks took place:
