Telangana News: The incident of heinous murder of software engineer Sunita in broad daylight on Wednesday in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, has created an uproar. Ex-husband Mahesh, who was angry after getting divorced ten months ago and getting married for the second time, committed this heinous crime. Accused Mahesh not only murdered Sunita but also created terror with petrol and cutter to scare the neighbors present in the house.
Both Sunita and Mahesh were software employees. They fell in love and got married. After marriage, he went to Australia for job and settled there as an NRI. However, there began to be differences between them and fights started. Fed up with the harassment, Sunita returned to India from Australia. Ten months ago, she officially divorced Mahesh and remarried a man named Srinath.
Sunita was four months pregnant
Mahesh could not digest Sunita’s second marriage. Mahesh, who had come from Australia with the intention of taking revenge, reached Srinath’s own flat in Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday afternoon. The entire movement of accused Mahesh was recorded in CCTV cameras. He had brought with him two sharp knives, a cutter and a petrol can. As soon as he entered inside, he brutally attacked Sunita. Sunita was four months pregnant.
He did not even notice that she was pregnant and attacked her head and other body parts indiscriminately with a knife. Mahesh also threatened the neighbours, who were trying to come inside after hearing the screams. He warned that if anyone came inside, he would pour petrol and set it on fire. He left from there only after Sunita was drenched in blood.
Police arrested the accused
Sunita’s husband Srinath, who reached home after hearing the news, cried bitterly. Vanasthalipuram police reached the spot and collected evidence through the clue team. According to the information, the police has already taken the accused Mahesh into custody. Sunita’s body was sent to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. This heinous incident has created panic among the residents of the local Green City Colony.
