Do these things if you get hacked
Disconnect the internet- If you feel that your system or device has been hacked, immediately disconnect it from the Internet. As long as your system remains connected to the internet, it will keep sending data to hackers. Therefore disconnect the internet. Also, put the device on airplane mode and turn off all connectivity options including Bluetooth.
Block credit card- If you notice suspicious transactions in your bank account after hacking, then get your card blocked immediately. If there has been an invalid transaction on your card, then inform the bank and other agencies about it.
Change the passwords of all accounts- If the hacker has done hacking to steal data, then change the passwords of all your accounts. Keep in mind that do not make the mistake of changing the password from a hacked system. For this, take the help of any other computer or smartphone. While creating a new password, select a completely new character and it should not be similar to the old password.
Scan the device- Once you’ve secured your device, card, and account, scan your device to remove malware. For this you can take help of Microsoft Defender or other anti-virus software.
Factory reset the device – Many times, even after scanning with antivirus tools, many threats remain. If you also see any suspicious app again after scanning your device, then the most effective method is to factory reset the device. This will remove malware or virus from the system.
