Akshay Oberoi’s first look from Yash’s ‘Toxic’ released, seen in dark and intense avatar as ‘Tony’

Yash’s much-awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups’ is releasing in theaters on March 19. The teaser of the film was released some time ago, which was liked very much by the audience. Meanwhile, the first look of actor Akshay Oberoi has been released. In this film, he will be seen in the character named ‘Tony’ and this incarnation of his is said to be completely different from his career. In the poster, Akshay is going to be seen in a dangerous and dark shaded role.

There is depth hidden in Akshay’s poster

Akshay Oberoi is seen in retro style in the poster. His clothes, hairstyle and entire look are reminiscent of the old era, but the style is very rough and strict. A pile of dead bodies is visible behind them, which points towards the violent story of the film. Anger in his eyes, strictness on his face and confidence in his body language are clearly visible. The atmosphere of the film is said to be quite dark and raw. From the background of the poster itself, it can be guessed that along with action, emotional and conflict will also be seen in the story. The character of ‘Tony’ is powerful, but there are many stories hidden within him.

Starcast of the film

This film is being directed by famous filmmaker Geeta Mohandas. Depth and different style is often seen in his films and the same glimpse is visible in ‘Toxic’ also. The star cast of the film is also very strong, which apart from Yash, includes big names like Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi.

The presence of such big actors makes this film even more special. The audience is hopeful that this film will be a large-scale action entertainer, in which a great combination of both story and style will be seen. Apart from this, the film is also going to face tremendous competition from the second part of Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film ‘Dhurandhar’.
