According to media reports, external help has been sought for repairing toilets 42 times since 2023. Complaints were made 32 times in 2025. An e-mail recorded 205 breakdowns in four days. Despite this, this problem has not been resolved. The engineering team has to do shifts of 19 hours each. In such a situation, sometimes 90 percent of the toilets do not work, due to which the sailors have to wait in the queue for 45 minutes.
